Blockchain technology & use cases
The blockchain technology is much more than Bitcoin and mining and trading cryptocurrencies. It can be leveraged in a wide variety of industries. All the potential use cases of blockchain technology will be given in-depth treatment at BCC-2018.
Decentralized Autonomous Organizations
A DAO is made possible by the blockchain, most especially Ethereum, and smart contracts. At BCC-2018 our speakers will show how properly implemented DAOs will challenge and disrupt traditional organizations across a wide variety of industries.
Dapps are as hot as mobile apps were a few years ago. Yes, you’ll hear talks on Dapps, but you’ll also have the opportunity to build your own via workshops, hackathons and a formal training class conducted by one of our developer training partners.
Mining and trading cryptocurrencies
Given the cost involved, whether it still makes sense to mine is an open debate. But that’s not the only means to earn cryptocurrencies. Learn from experts how to accumulate cryptocurrencies without spending a fortune. You might even learn how to issue your own.
Startups and established financial institutions are bringing blockchain databases to play in the fintech arena. The result is an intense competition. You’ll hear experts in the field discuss what this means for financial transactions across the board.
Initial Coin Offerings
Bubble or not, ICOs present tantalizing financial opportunities for developers and investors. In a Q & A session, you’ll have the opportunity to ask a panel of experts your most pressing questions about the ICO market.
Security & privacy on the blockchain
Wherever you’re operating on the technology spectrum, security and privacy issues are bound to follow. Hear industry experts discuss the unique security and privacy considerations associated with blockchain and the applications built atop it.
BCC-2018 will be your first opportunity of 2018 to network and rub shoulders with those trying to change how we interact, communicate and conduct business using the blockchain technology. It’s an opportunity you wouldn’t want to miss.
